The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) is North America's largest transportation network, serving a population of 15.3 million people in New York and parts of Connecticut. The MTA provides a wide range of transportation services through various agencies. Additionally, the MTA operates seven tolled bridges and two tunnels, as well as regional bus services. On weekdays, the MTA accommodates around 11 million passengers, with over a million using its bridges and tunnels daily.
