MuleSoft, LLC is a software company based in San Francisco, specializing in integration software that connects applications, data, and devices. Founded in 2006 by Ross Mason and Dave Rosenberg, MuleSoft originated from the open-source project Mule, created in 2003. The company rebranded from MuleSource to MuleSoft in 2009 and was acquired by Salesforce.com in May 2018 for $6.5 billion. MuleSoft's main product is the Anypoint Platform, an integration platform as a service (iPaaS) that facilitates the integration of software as a service (SaaS), on-premises software, and legacy systems. This platform allows organizations to create an "application network," enabling seamless connectivity through APIs.
