National African-American Insurance Association (NAAIA)

The National African American Insurance Association (NAAIA) is a professional membership organization founded in 1997 by Jerald L. Tillman in Cincinnati, Ohio. It aims to empower African American insurance professionals through networking, professional development, and promoting diversity within the insurance industry. With over 2,400 members across 24 chapters, NAAIA is committed to expanding its reach to 50 chapters and 7,500 members by 2030. NAAIA offers a variety of services, including networking opportunities, professional development programs, leadership summits, and community outreach initiatives. The organization emphasizes education on industry changes and provides resources to support career growth. It is open to all professionals in the insurance sector, regardless of race or ethnicity, and focuses on fostering inclusion and advancement for Black and African Americans.
